1st Global Skill Development Meet, 2015

In India, there is a huge mismatch between the current education and the skill sets that the industry and business needs. Industry & Academics-have both realized that the gap in the supply of employable manpower can not be bridged without their close cooperation & continued engagement. Keeping in mind the large requirements of Indian business as well as educational institutions, and the huge mismatch between the current education, EIFE along with UNESCO & OECD will introduce an event ”Global Skill Development Meet” in Paris that will take place on May 23, 2016 in the premises of UNESCO. The objective of this event is to create awareness about the skill development scenario in India, looking at specific sectors and assessing the requirements.
